Illinois Minimum Wage 2025 Salary Cap. The illinois minimum wage was last changed in 2008, when it was raised $6.25 from $7.75 to $14.00. On january 1, 2025, we saw the illinois minimum wage increase from $13.00 to $14.00.

For the judges’ retirement system (article 18) the annuity cola and the increase in the annual salary maximum. Those workers will now make a base pay of $16.20 per hour.
